Credit Collections Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Credit & Collections Coordinator / Analyst for direct hire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk analysis, credit limit determination, and the collection of invoices and deductions. This role requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and track unpaid customer invoices.
Prepare and distribute reports on past due accounts, DSO, and collection metrics.
Oversee cash receipts application and provide necessary documentation to expedite payments.
Conduct daily collections efforts on overdue amounts.
Analyze new customer credit requests and recommend credit limits.
Process and follow up on new credit applications.
Verify and update bank information and utilize credit agency reporting platforms.
Update ERP system with relevant customer and accounting information.
Communicate with internal departments regarding customer account issues.
Assist with day-to-day operations, monthly and year-end accounting tasks.
Perform general accounting analysis, reconciliations, and prepare daily borrowing base reports.
Engage with high-level accounting employees for insurance renewals and finance statements.
Required Experience and Skills:
Background in General Ledger (GL).
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable and Credit Coordinator.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions within policy guidelines.
Self-starter with potential for future management roles.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Salesforce.
Proficiency in Power BI.
Management experience is a plus.
Education:
Minimum 2-year accounting certification or degree preferred.
Salary Range: $65k - $75k
