LHH is seeking a highly skilled Legal Administrative Assistant for a full-time opportunity in Wilmington, NC. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a North Carolina law firm. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance defense, employment, civil, or municipal litigation, and a strong working knowledge of court rules, deadlines, and e-filing procedures in both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Manage e-filing in state and federal courts

  • Coordinate calendars, deadlines, depositions, and meetings

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files

  • Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment

  • Handle general office tasks including scanning, copying, and formatting documents

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation support experience within a North Carolina law firm

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of NetDocuments and Elite is a plus

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism
