LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Wilmington, DE to hire a Payroll Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This fully onsite role is ideal for someone with hands-on payroll experience, preferably in healthcare, and familiarity with Paycor. The company processes weekly payroll for 500+ employees, so attention to detail and efficiency are key.
Job Title: Payroll Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Wilmington, DE – Fully Onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: $28–$32/hr (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees using Paycor
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Respond to and resolve employee payroll inquiries
- Maintain and update payroll records and documentation
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
- Assist with payroll reporting and audits
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll-related tasks
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience, ideally in healthcare
- Experience with Paycor or similar payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be available to start immediately and work fully onsite
Preferred Skills:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Familiarity with payroll compliance and reporting requirements
