Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading building services company to fill their open HVAC Technician job in Wilton, CT. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar HVAC role. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $32.00 and $40.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company’s benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance of all standard package and split unit HVAC systems
• Inspecting and repairing/replacing belts and pulleys, cleaning condensate drain lines, testing power/performance of compressors, fan motors, blower motors, testing functionality of burners/heat exchangers, and functionality of all safety and operational controls
• Repairing steam/hot water boiler systems
• Diagnosing airflow and ducting repairs
• Safely and efficiently using refrigerants in EPA compliance
• Diagnosing and repairing common mechanical, electrical, or system failure issues on standard boiler, package, and split unit HVAC systems
• Completing service inspection and asset inspections
• Creating and submitting Service Reports and Quality Inspection images and reports
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining compliance with all safety standards and procedures
• Adhering to building codes, state/federal guidelines, and company-client policies and procedures
• All other tasks as required

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• S-1 Contractor or S-2 Journeyperson license for Unlimited Heating, Piping, and Cooling (or a least willingness and desire to obtain license after hire)
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies
• The ability to read blue prints and technical schematics as well as specification manuals
• Valid driver’s license in good standing

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $32.00 and $40.00
