Maintenance Electrician

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading building services company to fill their open Maintenance Electrician job in Wilton, CT. To qualify, you must have at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role in a commercial environment. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $36.00 and $40.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company’s benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all primary and secondary/electrical distribution systems up to 600 volts


• Troubleshooting and maintaining control circuitry, variable frequency drives and all other special electrical systems


• Wiring outlets, relocating fixtures, lighting and power panels, installing such outlets in existing and underground raceways when applicable and required.


• Servicing batteries and transformers


• Completing all PM and record keeping assigned to areas of responsibility.


• Submitting required electrician’s reports for all work performed


• Making recommendations to management as necessary on the performance of equipment


• Responding to emergencies at any time


• Maintaining a safe and clean work area, maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and procedures


• Performing plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance as required


• All other tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role in a commercial environment


• E-1 Unlimited Electrical Contractor or E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyman’s license or have successfully completed a four-year apprenticeship program


• Excellent attention to detail


• The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner


• Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies


• The ability to read blue prints and technical schematics as well as specification manuals


• Prior experience in project estimation of electrical labor, materials and equipment

  Schedule:



• Monday - Friday


• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $36.00 and $40.00
