LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a reputable organization based in Winston Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years well-rounded accounting experience and a solid technical knowledge in GAAP. The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Controller and offers a HYBRID work schedule.

Senior Accountant job duties will include:

· Prepare monthly financial statements and conduct thorough analysis.

· Monthly journal entries (including accruals), account reconciliations, and financial analysis, aligning with GAAP accounting practices.

· Bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

· Assist in preparing budgets.

· Active involvement in annual audit preparation, with a focus on resolving audit findings and ensuring compliance.

· Support for payroll efficiency by ensuring accuracy.

· Fixed assets, including the maintenance of monthly depreciation schedules and tracking of capital purchases against budget.

· Daily review of online bank transactions to reconcile balances between the GL and the bank.

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by contributing to the preparation of special project reports such as tax filings, audit schedules, and other regulatory submissions.

· Assist with special requests and projects, as directed by the Controller.

Desired Qualifications:

· BS Degree in Accounting

· Minimum of 4 years well-rounded accounting experience (GAAP and/or Tax)

· Strong financial analysis skills

· Adept at relationship-building

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
