LHH has an immediate need for a strong Assistant Controller. A local company in Winston-Salem is looking for a solid candidate with a public accounting + industry background to join their team. You will be responsible for month end close, general ledger and journal entries, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from the Controller and CFO.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting environment

• Strong technical skills with ERP systems and Excel

• Good communication skills both verbally and written
