Procurement & Supply Chain
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role supports the purchasing team by maintaining vendor relationships, tracking orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining approved vendor lists.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate???s or Bachelor???s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with vendor contract terms and compliance standards.
Salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 dependent on experience.
Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
