Call Center Representative

As a Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance and resolving inquiries efficiently and professionally. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, address customer concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Woodridge IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls from customers and make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, orders, or issues.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies. Address customer questions, complaints, and concerns with patience and empathy.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, escalating complex cases to supervisors when necessary.
  • Accurately record customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the customer management system.
  • Promote products and services to customers where appropriate and meet sales targets.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and to address any further inquiries.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall service quality.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in using computers and customer service software
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with difficult situations

Job Details:

  • 100% onsite
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Pay is $17-$20 an hour, depending on experience
