The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing our company's incoming revenue streams. This individual will be responsible for tracking and collecting payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies or issues. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner. Ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.


  • Payment Processing: Monitor and process incoming payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions.


  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.


  • Collections: Follow up with clients on overdue invoices, working to resolve any issues or disputes. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.


  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.


  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions, communications, and account activities.


  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, and assist with internal and external audits as required.


  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing and payments.


Qualifications:



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.


  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.


  • Skills:



    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
