Finance Director – FP&A | CPG & E-Commerce

Finance Director – FP&A – Financial Planning & Analysis – Consumer Products – Inventory – DTC – E-Commerce – Advanced Excel – Financial Modeling

Are you a strategic yet hands-on Finance Director with deep experience in CPG and e-commerce environments? We’re partnering with a confidential high-growth consumer products company based in Los Angeles that’s seeking a dynamic finance leader to support their next stage of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive budgeting, forecasting, strategic analysis, and financial operations for a fast-paced, product-driven organization. You’ll be joining a team that values curiosity, rigor, and entrepreneurial thinking—while offering the chance to build out FP&A infrastructure and your own team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and variance/trend analysis for executive reporting

  • Analyze business drivers and growth opportunities to support strategic decisions

  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives

  • Develop and scale the FP&A function, including tools, systems, and team

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, inventory, and leadership

  • Participate in M&A due diligence and financial modeling for strategic initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with CPG industry expertise required

  • Experience in e-commerce/DTC environments strongly preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills; strong financial modeling and analysis capability

  • Proven ability to work at both the strategic and tactical levels

  • Experience building or optimizing FP&A infrastructure in fast-paced settings
