Located in the heart of Rome, the upcoming 5-star private members club aims to redefine the meaning of luxury and exclusivity. Designed for a sophisticated and discerning clientele, the club will offer exceptional experiences, personalized services, and a refined setting for cultural enrichment and social engagement.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Membership to lead the development and management of our exclusive membership program. This strategic role will shape the club’s member community, drive acquisition and retention, and ensure an exceptional experience that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be directly responsible for:
· Strategic Development
-Create and execute membership strategies to attract and retain high-net-worth individuals
-Design membership tiers and benefit structures aligned with the club’s luxury positioning
· Acquisition & Retention
-Lead initiatives to grow the membership base while preserving exclusivity
-Build long-term relationships with members to foster loyalty and engagement
· Team Leadership
-Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing membership team
-Provide training to ensure consistent delivery of superior service
· Member Experience
-Oversee the onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new members
-Collaborate across departments to curate bespoke events and experiences
· Marketing & Communications
-Partner with the marketing team to promote membership offerings through strategic campaigns
-Represent the club at high-profile events and networking opportunities
· Data & Analytics
-Utilize CRM systems to analyze member behavior and track engagement metrics
-Generate reports and insights to inform continuous improvement
Your Profile
The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
· 7–10 years’ experience in membership management, ideally in luxury hospitality or private clubs; experience in senior communications roles within the fashion industry is also highly valued
· Proven ability to develop and implement successful membership programs
· Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a focus on high-touch relationship management
· Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
· Deep understanding of the luxury market and the expectations of elite clientele
· Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus
