Head Of Operations

For ourClient, an innovative company of mechanical industry, we are looking for a HEADOF OPERATIONS who will be involved in the phases in designing, assessing, andenhancing the efficiencies of operational processes for the italian factory

The person,reporting to the CEO, will be accountable for managing all operationalfunctions: Machining, Industrial & Process Engineering, Assembly &Integration, Procurement e Logistics/Warehousing.

Responsibilities

MAINRESPONSIBILITIES:

·Create the full standard operatingprocesses, ensuring these are clearly communicated, integrated, and deliveredinto the individual business units.

·Support the products’industrialization, the development, and the adjustment of industrial processesto production needs.

·Ensure the company’s supply chaincapabilities are optimized to drive economies of scale and implementing astandardized supplier performance framework to enhance cost, delivery, andquality performance.

·Define and implement an accurateproduction planning process that grants the adequate level of service tocustomers.

·Ensure the procurement of materials,in-bound logistics, storage, and the flow of materials to the production lines.

·Supervise, appraises and coachstaff, train team members.

·Coordinate with sales, engineering,and other departments to further develop markets, products, and procedures.

Your Profile

REQUIREDEXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

·Degree in technical field:Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

·Minimum 10 years’ experience inoperations management

·A minimum of 5 years in amanufacturing/plant operations leadership role

·Knowledge of automation inproduction processes

·Preferably knowledge of qualitytools like Six Sigma, 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA.

·Strong experience in reporting onkey production metrics

·Ability to self-motivate withefficient time-management and prioritization skills and to meet deadlines andability to work well under pressure and across all levels of seniority

·Strong decision-making skills and aresults-driven approach

·Outstanding communication abilityand excellent organizational and leaderships skills

·Strong passion for mechanics and technologicalinnovation

·Fluent in English
